We are the largest manufacturers and suppliers of Guar Gum powder and Guar Gum Splits in Gujarat, India. We here at Rama Industries give great importance to Quality. Packaging of Guar Gum is done in such a way that it preserves the highly delicate product in good condition for a long time.
The history of Rama Industries dates back to 1989 when the promoters of this Company established a guar splitting plant at Deesa, Gujarat State Of India. In the year 1997 the first line for production for Food Grade Guar Gum Powder was set up in a completely new premises under direct control of technocrats, well qualified and having experience of the trade to their credit, highly qualified parteners under whom the entire working of the Unit and the Manufacturing process is constantly watched, vigil and care being exercised so as to regularly maintain the quality of the products. Since then the production, quality control, warehousing and other facilities have been expanded and improved from time to time. Now we have expanded 5 sepatare plants —3 specially for Food grade and 2 for technical and oil drilling grade.
Rama Gum is also recognized for Spices, Fenugreek Gum, Cassia Gum, as well for its specialty in manufacturing customer centric Grades
Rama industries and its flagship brand Ricol command a high reputation worldwide for quality products, efficient services and level of reliability as a stable supplier of quality products. The company lays special emphasis on maintaining quality standards parallel to the highest in the industry. It is always busy developing new and improved products for various applications.
Company Timeline
We started with trading of Guar and other agro product initially in the begning, which grown our interest in this “magical seed” Guar, Founder Mr.Babulal was recgonised for sustainable sourcing as he regularly visits and himself approves quality, He has advised to more than 450+ guar farming farmers for better agricultural development
In 1989 APMC recognized as “Most demanded Traders” which influenced us to move ahead towards growing as industries, and established Guar seed to Guar split manufacturing plant by name Prakash Guar Industries
With the vision was to provide best quality end product Team stepped ahead and started operating and manufacturing Guar seed to guar gum powder plant in 1997
In early 2001 Rama Gum Industries faced many obstacles but due to constant hard work we at Rama Gum Industries became the first exporter of Guar dal from india
Due to exponential demand Rama Group expanded the manufacturing capacity and started 3rd Industrial Grade Guar gum manufacturing unit, Along with started constant Research & development for new applications
Within just 8 year of establishment, the company had its foot prints to more than 50+ countries along with USA, Russia, China, Australia, Germany, UAE, Malaysia etc.
Seeing towards adulteration in animal feed, Mr. babulal started manufacturing of Guar korma (By-Product of Guar seed) high protein feed with fully Automated Plant with admixture detection technology which later got recognized by ISO22000, BRC, GMP+, FAMIQs worldwide
For development of specialized guar products, technical & industrial grade, Inaugurated two new units at Ahmedabad – Gujarat with 4000MT Annual capacity
Rama Industries was awarded the prestigious APEDA export award in India for the year 2009-10.As being the largest exporter in India of Guar Gum. This achievement highlights Rama Industries superior competitive position and shows its prowess.
APEDA Export award was presented in a public function held at New Delhi. The award was presented by, Union minister of state for commerce and industry Jyotiraditya Scindia, Founder Mr. Babulal & Dr. Mehul Mehta received the award on behalf of Rama Industries.
The Team was awarded for “OUTSTANDING EXPORT PERFORMANCE 2011-2012 by Honorable Industry minister, Govt.Of Gujarat Shri Saurabhbhai Patel on 19 July 2014 at VIBRANT GUJARAT held at Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA)
Mr Babulal Shah & Mitul shah received award for “Highest Export & Outstanding Performance” by Honorable Chief minister of Gujarat Shri Vijaybhai Rupani and Home minister of Gujarat – Mr. Nitin Patel at VIBRANT GUJARAT 2015
The group expanded the Roasted korma manufacturing capacity with annual production capacity of 55000MT Annually, Under leadership of founder Babubhai Rama Gum became India's highest Roasted Korma Exporter, And stands at 1st position all over India
Received “GARIMA AWARD” under Business women wing for Outstanding Business Performance 2016-2017 at Gujarat Chamber of Commerce (GCCI) The award was honored by Mrs.Anjaliben VijayBhai Rupani to Mrs. Avani Shah (Director – Rama Gum Industries (I) Ltd.)
